Botanical Gardens

Botanical Gardens. This 18-acre garden boasts more than 600 varieties of shrubs, flowering trees and cactuses. Also featured are a vast collection of Bahamian and exotic orchids.  Open from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday and 9-4 Saturday & Sunday. Admission is $1.- for adults and 50 cents for children. This small piece of Paradise won't let you down—It's 18 acres packed with more than 600 species of beauty. There's plenty of information and adequate signage to help you identify what's what, and paths to guide you along the sweet-smelling way. No worries about the kids either because there's a special children's area to keep them occupied. Modest admission price - only US$1 for adults and $.50 for children.
