Bacardi Factory

The Bacardi Factory is located on the south side of the Island.

 

This rum liquor manufacturer, Bacardi,  gives tours of its facilities free of charge. Established in 1962, the company has gained a worldwide reputation for producing excellent rum at reasonable prices. Make reservations in advance to take the tour through the distillery and learn about the distilling process. At the end of the tour, sample the Bacardi array of rum products. You can also buy rum at a large discount.
 
Opening Hours  9:30am-4pm Mon-Thu; 9:30am-3pm Fri, unless it is raining. If it rains they cancel the tour as they dont want any lawsuites from anyone slipping in the rain.
It is situated on Bacardi and Carmichael road, Nassau and every taxi driver knows where it is. If you want to save some money, take the #10 bus into town and transfer to the #16 bus(by the straw market), which will take you right to the factory which is on Bacardi Road, the bus is only a dollar or two.
